Education

I graduated with a PhD in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from Stony Brook University and a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society studies from Vassar College.

 

Interests

I am interested in scientific research about health and medicine, genes and proteins in disease and gene regulation, neuroscience, and environmental science. I have written about transcription factors and enhancers and their role in transcription and about research with model organisms, specifically the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster.
